I think they can go away on their own, not absolutely certain. I would be asking for a time frame just for reassurance.OTOH, my eldest niece had one, it was removed and found to have teeth and suchlike. Apparently it is quite common.
I had one myself as a teen. They are quite common.I had the same advice all those years ago. Some cysts are little fluid-filled bags, those are the ones that shrink on their own.Some are solid little balls of cells. I had one like that and had surgery for it. (Mine had no teeth!) My ovary was and is fine, if that's any reassurance to you and dd.Have they given dd a date to go back for another scan?
