DS2's bent it so I can't plug the charger in. If I take the back off I break the terms of the warranty.

Can I fix it?

CountDuckulaTheSqueaky Wed 25-Oct-17 21:16:56

Obviously not.

Can you bend it back with a cocktail stick?

CountDuckulaTheSqueaky Wed 25-Oct-17 21:43:57

I'll try that in the morning Better(?)

I took it to Curry's, they can't fix it, apparently they don't fix tablets, I'm taking it to the EE shop today. Fingers crossed. thlgrin

You might be better off going to an independent IT repair place.

You may be able to charge on a flat wireless charger? DD's phone won't charge via the port and that is what she does.

CountDuckulaTheSqueaky Fri 27-Oct-17 07:51:15

BikeRunSki wouldn't that break the terms of the warranty?

Fixmylife I'll look into them, thanks. 😆

BikeRunSki Fri 27-Oct-17 07:52:24

Probably. I guess it depends if it is still under warranty.

Mehfruittea Fri 27-Oct-17 07:54:53

I’d still under warranty the manufacturer will offer you a chargeable repair. Depends how much it cost. Who made it?

CountDuckulaTheSqueaky Fri 27-Oct-17 08:12:54

Alcatel. It's an EE Robin. We got it for a product test on here.

How do wireless chargers work?

Fixmylife Fri 27-Oct-17 09:31:40

Charger is plugged in and device just sits on top of the charging plate

Fixmylife Fri 27-Oct-17 09:32:31

Not all devices work with wireless chargers though. It all depends on what backs they have.

CountDuckulaTheSqueaky Fri 27-Oct-17 15:06:33

I took it to the EE shop, they couldn't fix it, the guy told me about a guy with a stand, he's fixing it for £25, I'll pick it up on Sunday. 😆
