DD is 8 any reliable decent apps she may like?

Hi there, I am getting increasingly paranoid about the apps my daughter wants for her ipad. I don't want her connecting with other kids online, and I don't want her to spend lots of money on In App Purchases.
She wants to make cute animals and build their worlds.
We have all the Toca apps which she loves.
Can you recommend any?
