Dropbox query

I need to clear all my photos off my phone as it's too full. I have created a Dropbox account and uploaded all my photos to that. They are now in Dropbox and on my phone. I know I shouldn't delete them from Dropbox if I delete them from my phone but there are loads of photos of my daughter who died last year and I'd be devastated to lose them. Will it be ok?

Could you take a test photo on your phone, upload it to dropbox then just delete that one pic to see what happens?

I'd double back up somewhere else as well. On the computer itself or on a disk. Sorry for your lossFlowers

Personally I think I would burn a copy of the photos on to a cd just in case. But once uploaded into Dropbox you shouldn't need to keep the copy on your phone too. But definitely do a back up plan, they sound too important to take a chance.

yeah, backup elsewhere. Google drive maybe. Any deletes you do on regular dropbox accounts are permanent (no undelete function).
Sorry for your loss. Flowers

Thanks for the replies. Think I'll back up the precious pics on a CD then do trial delete of something unimportant.
