Well guess what, I have booked one too! (finally)

Are you excited? Do you know much about the tattoo artist?

Hi 3luckystars I’m so excited. I’ve wanted a tattoo for years and finally ... yay. What are you having done?

The artist did my dh’s first tattoo a few months ago - and it’s excellent. Love his work. He does a lot of watercolour work which is what I want.

And have also had a chat with him about the second tattoo I want. Can you tell I’m excited. Planning the second when I haven’t had the first one done! 😆😆

ooooo!! I love the watercolour ones. That's really exciting alright.

Where are you getting it? I wonder will it hurt :)

On my arm. Hoping it won’t hurt too much 🤞😆

Exciting OP!

I had my first tattoo in February after been too scared to book it for years. Mine is on my back, it didn't really hurt, it was like a sharp scratch which would intensify and then they would stop to wipe so it never really got unbearable.

I just got my second tattoo (inner lower arm) and it was painless - the one on my foot was quite painful.

Would love a watercolour as my next one.

Well hello.
So I got my tattoo done, it hurt a small bit but not as bad as I thought at all. It took about 2 hours in total.

One bit was very sore over an old scar but it turned out well.
It was a nice experience.

I didn’t look at it until it was finished and I the weirdest thing I have barely looked at it since. It’s a strange feeling. I do like it but I think it will take time to get used to it maybe?

Agree with Defender - my inner arm was fine, but I would NEVER get anything else on my feet. It was only 90 minutes, but way worse than the 16 hours I spent getting my back done (3 sittings). Ribs hurt quite a lot as well, but I would do that again.

I'm done now though, 5 is enough for me!

Congrats OP Smile

Funny how we all experience pain differently Pam. I would never have my back done again even if I somehow could (I honestly nearly fainted when he was lining my ribs - the only time that has ever happened) but my foot was a doddle compared to what I'd feared!

Upper arm was deffo the easiest for me - and was my first. That and outer thigh.
