A friend's DC is struggling to get enough answers for their survey for a school project.

Would any of you please help them out. I've done it and it took 2 minutes.

Thanks a lot

I cannot get past the page where they describe what sketch notes are. Is this a glitch?

Once I said I didn't know what visual notes are it wouldn't let me go to the next question.

I tried!

Gave up as it was sending me in a circle - sorry!

Done (I think!)

Sounds fascinating anyway.

To those saying they got stuck in a loop, I think the idea is that, if you say you don't know what a visual note is, it takes you to the explanation - then when you go back to the question you would no longer select that you don't what they are because you have now been told. So you can continue with the survey.

Bit of feedback on the survey - it's quite a leap to ask people to choose features in a mobile app that would be useful if they have never used visual notes or seen an example of such an app. Without this experience it is impossible to know what features would be useful. So I'm not sure your friend's DC will get very informative results, sorry.

I'll pass that on thanks. @chinesechicken

I think the loop has been edited now.

I know she appreciates all the responses.

Once you've read that page explaining what they are, you move into the category of people who know what they are but have never used them. Click that box and it takes you to the rest of the survey.

It's got to be said, though, that I can't see myself ever using this and therefore I don't think I can contribute that helpfully to what should be included. Your friend could perhaps more usefully include a question about what puts people off using it and how that could be remedied.

Done. I now know what sketch noting is. Looks useful!

blueskyinmarch Mon 10-Apr-17 10:29:27

It is sorted now so i have completed it.

If this is a simple exercise to get data for a exercise in statistics or presenting data visually, then my answers are probably OK.

However, if its a serious attempt to gauge interest in the app, I would have liked a comment box at the end.

I had to say I was fairly unlikely to use the app, but I wanted to say that was because I have 2 reservations, not that the app itself wouldn't be great. (It does sound great, and I hope it is successful. But I doubt it would be an easy task to develop it)

My reservations: (1) how long would it take to learn it to the point where I can make notes as quickly as I can when using pen & paper? (I am very proficient at using pen & paper, not so good at using graphics on a smartphone or tablet)
(2) Isn't the screen size going to be limiting?

From what I understand, this is less about gauging interest in the app. as the main purpose of the research was regarding features to be included as opposed to marketing potential.

He's sent me a few messages thanking me for posting here. I know he'd appreciate even more responses. He's watching the thread and I know he changed it having read criticism.
