**Autism and masking in school. Very important survey!**

I am a regular poster here, and I have permission from MNHQ to post this (thank you by the way!)

As some of you know, I have a ds with ASD. He is an expert masker, to the point where very few people in school can see any autistic traits. This obviously makes getting support for him very difficult and frustrating.

Because he has no support in school, he will be angry and meltdown after a day at school.

We have been told that ds is unusual in the way he masks, but I am quickly learning that this is not the case, there are many children like him.

I created this survey to learn more about this, and hopefully to be able to use the information (of which no individual, possibly identifying stories will be used) to raise awareness that some children are able to keep their stress and anxiety hidden until they leave school.

This is the first survey I have written, (kind) feedback gratefully received!

Thank you very much.
