We are concerned that children and learners with special educational needs/intellectual disabilities are still not achieving or being included in education at all levels according to their potential throughout the European Union. We are education researchers at Leeds Beckett University which is leading the ITIDE (Inclusion Training in Intellectual Disability for Educators) project. This aims to make available good quality open access training materials on Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) within EU states. We are currently carrying out a survey of teachers and professionals across Europe, but would really like to know what parents think of the materials available and whether they are useful. We would be very grateful if you could take part in our short survey www.surveymonkey.net/s/mumsnetitidesurvey which contains a link to the materials (www.complexneeds.org.uk). Thank you!
