I am a final year student at Swansea University carrying out research for my dissertation on Primary level Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) in the United Kingdom and Spain. I would be grateful if you could spare a few minutes of your time to complete the survey link below relating to your child’s/ school’s involvement with MFLs.

Many thanks in advance.

Hi there,

We're just moving this thread over to our NFP Surveys topic, where this sort of thing belongs.

One comment - I can't actually support my 5 yr old in repeating the songs he brings home, as my French is close to non existent.

Not sure if you are after proposals, but a way to allow parental support for very young children would help. Teaching at the moment seems to be songs, which I can't "read", even tho they come home.

Thank you, the comments are great as well as the responses on the survey, all of which is very beneficial to me and i can use to help develop the results!

I'd be interested in reading the results too. Sounds like an interesting study to undertake.
