Hello Mumsnet users!

My name is Hugo, and besides being a very keen baker and lover of eating, i'm a student - and that is what has brought me here!

I'm writing my dissertation on 'The Future of Food Magazines', something which I believe to be almost solely in your hands.

To help me investigate this subject I have created a survey. I would really, really appreciate it if anyone could spare 60 seconds (maximum) to answer a few questions (link below).

If you have ANY questions, or would like to know more, please do not hesitate to either ask me on here, or contact me directly:

Thank you so much for your help and time.

Best wishes,
Hugo Harrison

I've two shelves of cookery books and I buy food magazines and I definitely almost always look on my ipad now. Yesterday I made a nigella cake and I know I have the recipe but I still looked online rather than getting the book out.

another "done!"

I've subscribed to lots of different mags (over the years)but there really is not anything new out there If you stick with a magazine they just repeat stuff from the year before, and it's not like they are cheap...three or four glossys and you could have had a sleb cheffy book instead!

Done and bumped grin

Another done here. I don't buy magazines of any sort and certainly not about food or recipes because I have so many recipe books already that I don't need to bother with magazines.

Done. You sound very sweet, I want to call my unborn child Hugo but DH thinks it's a bit too posh - has it hindered you? Thank you for your time wink

Good luck Hugo

TheBitch, it seems to me that the only way to settle your dh's qualms is for him to set up a similar request on MN with his chosen baby name.

If he gets more people filling in his survey than Hugo does, he is right.

Maybe the OP's real name is Jayden and his mum advised him to NC before posting on MN grin
