Diagnosed with hypothyroidism

Hello from Bangladesh. The topic of surrogacy has always amazed me, how an individual can take the physical and emotional strain of a pregnancy and the deliver the outcome to another lap. In my opinion, it is the ultimate of human sincerity and sacrifice. I might not have understood the full dimension of the subject matter if I were not facing a dilemma in my life. Let me introduce myself first, I am a mother of a beautiful son and crossing the threshold of forty. My husband was the only son of his parents and when we got married, we had always wanted a big family. Maybe it was an attempt of my husband to fill the void he had in his life of never sharing a sibling's company and friendship.The glitch started ten years ago when I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism, a metabolic disease where all of the body's functions start working in a slow gear, including the reproductive system. I was devastated because that meant i might never conceive or my pregnancies would face complications. I was fortunate enough to have the support of my husband and family and went through rigorous procedural details of ART. My luck and fortune stood by me again and after a two failed attempts at IVF, l was pregnant with my son. Apart from some minor delay in the expected delivery date, owing to which I had an induced labor, we were blessed with a healthy boy. I recovered, the child grew up handsome but my hudband's yearning for another child did not cease. Now it was my time to support him and that is when i started my quest again. Unfortunately luck was not my side, being a forty plus female with a metabolic syndrome had sent my hormones into a havoc. With no support from my hormonal drive, my gynaecologist told me it would be too much of a physical hassle and psychological stress to go for ART support. My body is aging and my health status is descending but my mind and heart was still passionately striking tones with my husband's. It was then that the idea of a surrogate mother came to my mind. Living in Bangladesh with no supportive and well defined laws regarding surrogacy, my brother in the UK offered his proposal, why not get it done there. So here I am again, anxious yet determined to proceed. Apart from the details of entire procedure and the financial assistance of a surrogate mother, I am overwhelmed with legal procedures. What would be the legal status of my child born outside Bangladesh? Would we get a British citizenship for our child born in the UK? Would there be any trouble getting a Bangladeshi citizenship for my child? We are settled in Bangladesh and have no future plans of moving abroad. Any help would be appreciated.
