Rabbit poorly post-vaccination

Our rabbits were vaccinated yesterday afternoon. The female is fine but the male was off after we got back from the vets. At first I thought he was freaked out by the car trip but this morning he’s not himself and is not eating.
I’ve got an appointment at the vets this afternoon but wondered if anyone else’s rabbit had this reaction?
They’ve been fine in previous years after jabs.

Has he eaten since yesterday? Has he done any poos?

How soon is your appointment.

If he isn't eating it's important you try to get something into him unless your appointments is very soon. Rabbits digestive systems are different to ours and if they don't eat they go in to GI stasis which can be fatal. Have you tried his favourite foods and treats. Herbs usually go down well, as does banana.

The vet may give him a gut stimulant and recommend that you syringe feed him.

All is well! He’s started eating again this afternoon, which is a relief as I didn’t fancy trying to syringe feed him.
