How much does my hamster eat?

So, we quarter fill hamsters bowl every other day or so with the food from the pet shop. But every time I clear out his tunnel, which is where he has decided to stock pile all of the shredded bedding that he wees on, there seems to be all of the food jammed in there too!
He doesn't look like he is starving and is very active and friendly. We give him the very occasional fresh treat too.
Am I over feeding him...or under feeding him??? Or just worrying unnecessarily???

Hamsters naturally make food stores so nothing to worry about ( Hence the cheek pouches for collecting lots at a time).

Hamster in our household is the same too. She gets Some treats and fresh food daily and she gets dry food in her bowl. The dry food tends to get stock piled, she has small quantity and she will always eat treats and fresh food. I think they’re hoarders by nature but they certainly won’t starve. Nothing to worry about OP.

I have to say they’re quirky things and definitely not always readable like other pets.
