I've seen on a Facebook group that people have suggested a soft artificial grass as it's easy to shake the hay etc off and rinse with water and put straight back. Also they say the wee soaks straight through the air holes.
Has anyone here used it? It sounds just what I'm looking for but I have a big floor space to cover and don't want to spend money on it if it's not really suitable.
