Usually put guinea pig in the garage when it starts to get colder, worry about him getting too cold if he stays in his hutch outside!!.
He is currently still outside wondering if I should put him into garage soon
What temperature can guineas cope with outside
His hutch is at top of garden out of wind has cover all around sides with flap that I close and zip up at night
Covers on top of hutch

We moved ours from the summer house into the utility room this past weekend. We had slight frost forecast and I gave a relatively older pig who is a martyr to her chest!

is there anywhere else he can move to apart from the garage [if it is used for a car], failing that regular cleaning, extra bedding and the covers you describe sounds ok. gp should really live indoors imo Grin
