What do we need to take care of rabbits?

I'm considering taking on a couple of rabbits from a rescue centre. I had rabbits as a child, but I suspect they were not cared for anywhere near as well as they ought to have been, so I want to find out how to do it properly.
What equipment do we need? Is there a guide to care and feeding that you would recommend?
Thanks smile

Great news you're buying a couple rather than one!

I am in the process of adopting rabbits from a rescue centre.
They are coming to do a home visit to check at least the following:
a) our hutch is big enough - at least 6ft by 2ft by 2ft
b) have secure attached run that the rabbits can stand up in
c) that the garden is secure if they escape from the hutch/run
d) they want to make sure that the rabbits will get lots of handling not just left in the hutch with the kids looking through the mesh.
They have told me which pellets they are currently eating so I can buy the same ones but they mainly need to eat just hay/grass with the odd veggie treat.
