Just had a strange humming noise under my chair. Turns out that Current Bun is snoring - I've never heard him do this before

No, but my cat does. That doesn't help, does it... 
My buns are outside so they're never asleep when I'm with them, so I don't know if they do it. It might be normal, but I think my first thought would be illness, although I suspect that's unlikely. So he's probably just a lazy bones....

Yes, it sometimes sounds like a helicopter. They do it when they're very content, or if they run around in a circle too it's usually when they're ready for mating.
Mine used to do it around my feet

Midori - none of my previous buns have snored so I'm not sure if it is a normal thing. He was absolutely flat out asleep though (he'd had a busy morning of resting
). He's a bun of very few words usually. I've only heard the occasional happy but very quiet squeak when he's being stroked and the odd angry buzz when a GP tries to climb him. So this snoring came as a shock. My previous bun had an opinion on everything
