why are my gerbils squealing?!

We've had our 2 girls for 8 weeks, they were 10 weeks when we got them, they're sisters.

never have i heard them make a noise but one of them has had a real squeal this evening, i can't tell which one because they were wrestling with each other like they frequently do, is one,hurt or were they fighting properly? They don't appear to be ill or in distress and are both quiet and snuggled up together now.

We used to have 2 boys - they were always squealing and wrestling, but never hurt each other.

One of them is getting quite chubby, I think I'll get them a wheel tomorrow. I've seen them wrestle loads but never squealing! I hope they don't hurt each other in the night.

Are they defiantly two girls?
They might not be wrestling and ones getting tubby................?

I don't know how to tell! The pet shop said they were 2 sisters, we've had them long enough for one of them to give birth by now if they were doing the wild thing though surely?
