One of the things I remember about my GPs I had as a child was they were noisy.
If they were outside, they'd squeak.
Inside if they heard anything suspiciously like chopping or rustling, they were off!

GP1 only squeals (not a squeak more an angry Bugger off ) when he's lifted up.
Then he stopped when GP2 died but he's found his voice again.

GP2 never squeaked. He was noisy in the night cage. He threw his plates about and tipped them up to rattle of the bars.

GP3 never shuts up Grin. When we cuddle him, he constantly prattles on (it's quite nice really).
If he's in the run and I rustle a bag he runs round wheeking like mad.
I don't know how GP1 copes. It's like living with Marcel Marceau then the Horrible Histories Shouty Man.

I've told DD that when they are in for winter to listen out. GP3 just might be a Singer Grin

Oh bless him:) GP3 is a noisy little fella as well. Squeaks the whole time that we hold/cuddle him. He adores his cuddles, never happy until he has scrambled up my chest and then he lies flat out around my neck making this wheaking/purring noise. Soooooo cuteGrin GP1 only squeals when he wants food or is angry, and GP2 is silent. We don't hear a squeak from him, never have!!

70 I sympathise. Scruffy started squeaking when we brought him home 2 1/2 years ago and he hasn't stopped yet. It's a constant squeaky mutter and he's a house pig so it's the background noise in our house. Smooth never speaks (probably can't get a word in) except for a squeal when he's really annoyed. You will get used to it or get ear defenders Grin

I love a noisy piggie Grin
I love the sound of him tootling about, ferreting through grass, popcorning with sound effects,
And the wheeking that we can hear from the end of the garden.

I don't know if GP1 can get a word in, GP3 doesn't pause for breath .
