What else has your GP been up to?

Following on from the previous thread on GP adventures, I was wondering how everyone's pigs spent the Bank Holiday.

My boys are currently separated whilst Smoothpig recovers from a leg injury. He spent the morning repeatedly breaking into Scruffypigs side of the indoor pen. Scruffy didn't seem bothered.

This afternoon they played together beautifully outside and made a good job of the lawn. So this evening I was thinking 'maybe I could put them back together'. I put them in the conservatory whilst I cleaned out their pen and just happened to glance up to see Scruffypig strolling casually past the door with a mouthful of Smoothpigs fluff Angry

They are still separated at the moment, although last time I looked Smoothpig was trying to break in again. All in all, it's been a fairly eventful day for my boys. (BTW I should mention that no pigs were harmed, although one had an impromptu haircut).

Grin - have a great vision in my head of Scruffypigs strutting around looking all cocky with a mouthful of fur!

My two have had playtime again....they did have a tiff the other day which happened because LittlePig was being far far to much of a arse and thinking he was the boss Hmm - Myself and BigPig were not impressed! Hmm

They seem to be extra wheeky tonight - greedy buggers!

I just had a look at your photos- your guineas are completely different colours, so no way that ScruffyPig could even pretend he'd been grooming himself and got a bit carried away.
Little blighters aren't they Wink

My furbabies have been hiding themselves under the hay when the lid of their haybox is open (they also have their widow open, it's getting warm in Darkest Essex).

I'm a bit worried about them cooking themselves but they seem to need the shelter. So I put a fleece and cardboard box in the haybox with the lid up. And a smaller box of hay to scoff.
Went in today and they've both crammed themselves into the haybox Hmm
For the love of Jeff you've got all that airey space. Why pack yourselves in a box ? And still under the hay?

Defies Logic Confused

Moved the big run onto a fresh piece of lawn for mowing duties. Nice clump of dandelion with flower in full bloom. Naughty Girl with her shiny black coat looked very pretty against it. DD2 said how much she would like to take her photo.

As soon as said Naughty 'picked' the flower, ate the stalk and left the head. Bang went that photo opportunity Confused

Our pigs clearly have very different ambitions. I have an escapologist and a hairdresser, Bonkeys LittlePig fancies himself as the next Alan Sugar (although I didn't see him on The Apprentice last night), 70 has a couple of potholing pigs and fortified has a florist.

Can we just send them out to work and live off their income now?
