and now I am really worried about him.

We go away tomorrow and the hamster has gone to my parents for the duration.

When they are here, he goes to them no problem and will eat treats out of their hands.

I spoke to mum this morning and she said his poos are thinner than normal and appear wet. He also would not come out of his cage not even for a treat.

Do you think he is missing us? He is a cuddly hamster, climbs all over us, nibbles our eyebrows and doesn't mind being kissed a thousand times by DS2.

Has anyone else had experience of wet poos?

Jeeze, I never thought I would be so worried about a bloody hamster blush

Sounds like it could be this I had a hamster die from it so I'd get him to a vet and quickly.

Oh blimey, I hope not sad

I will speak to them this morning and ask how he is. Yes, they would take him to a vet.

Thanks for your replies.

Oooh hello grin

Hammy is just fine and dandy thank you!

Mum and dad txted a pic of him to reassure us. I think it was just a change of circs that upset him a little. Mum got up twice on the first night to check on him because she herself was worried!
