What sort of shoes would I wear with this ??

Got a wedding to go to in Sept. Have seen a skirt like this
but it's different shades of green and has a bit that ties at the side (looks better than it sounds).

Anyway, i'm not sure what style of top or shoes to wear with it ??

How about a pair of the little sequined shoes. The ones that look a bit like belly dancer shoes. Just going by the description.

Like i said it's sort of different shades of green though and has a more raggy edge to the bottom LOL, I know it sounds awful.

Yeah I thought about that but I am quite short and can look a bit dumpy in flats.

wedges?

Or a pair of the canvas wedge ones. New look have some that are a bit embroidered with sequins I think. They'd be cheap as well seing as some places are getting winter stock in.

Describe it Nutty - is it flared or straight? How long is it?

Sorry, just seen that you don't like flats - Jones have loads on their website though - so you might find something - lots on sale as well.

It's quite hard to describe.

It is like in the link except is differnt shades of green with say sage green being the darkest and then lighter bits. The bottom is uneven sort of like cinderella rag skirt (sorry only thing i could think to describe it) and then it has a bit that ties at the side like the one in the link.

It is kneeish length.

What colour shoes would be best ?? white/cream/green ??

If I was wearing green I would probably try and get some gold wedges

Personally I'd play it safe with black top and black shoes. I wouldnt' wear gold shoes but that's just me.

For a wedding I'd wear black high heeled sandals, the green skirt, a nice understated simple black top and I might accessorise with necklace/bracelet/bangles in the greeny colour.

Unless you could get nice green shoes that match the skirt...

Don't think black would go Gobble, which is a shame cos i have loads of black tops.

I was thinking cream too.

Wanna show off my legs a bit so are heels best ??

Yeah green would be nice but i think it will be hard to get some to match. Theres a great shoe sale on the debenhams site though.
