remember there was a thread a while back where we were all swooning over the tweed dress? don't think i've got over it as i'm desperate to find an excuse to buy this. am skinny/no tits so top would work fine. tulip shaped skirt will date quickly i think. have nowhere to wear it - don't work oth, don't go to swanky parties where i could dress it up with sparkles, but goddamnit i want it.

Mmmmm that's nice. Couldn't you get a job just so you can wear it to work

You're probably right about tulip skirt dating tho...

Know what you mean, I am still thinking fondly of this tartan dress linked to in a thread ages ago.

Lovely dress bonfire - I say buy it. I am sooooo fed up with not having stuff in my wardrobe for occassions that crop up - then having to run out and buy something not particularly nice because I cant find anything when I have too. So am now buying a few pieces as and when I see them to have at the ready (just dont tell DH about the 3 posh frocks I have hanging in the wardrobe as yet unworn - he just would not understand the concept!)

I've just got this shop.saltwater.net/product/585/S1E19_Wool_Tulip_Dress if you want to flash a bit more flesh and cash with a tweed frock.
I've got it as an 'investment' because I hate the whole I've got nothing to wear so I'll throw money on something thats not really me. I've still got the labels on it so will return if you all thing it will date/age me 30 years/double my visual weight.

Like your frock though must not be tempted, must not be tempted...
