In either black or grey. Needs to:

  • look like it's good quality (even if it's cheap )
  • be v-neck or scoop ie not high neck
  • pretty much knee-length
  • be quite plain so it can be dressed up or down

2 squares of dairy milk for the first to find it!
Thanks.

Short sleeved, but maybe too much detail.

With a bow, so maybe not plain enough.

Thanks everyone - nothing ideal as yet. jackieno - I like the one with the bow, but as I have enormous quite large norks, I fear the bow would just draw attention to them! Any more anyone? Have bookmarked uniqlo as it looks good.

So are you after a more fitted one, or a looser, shift-like one?

Report
Clure · 04/11/2009 22:14

I got a nice one in h&m scoop neck, 3/4 sleeves, fitted and slightly flared out, quite short so I wear with leggings- washes nice, very reasonable though can't remember how much exactly

JackieNo · 04/11/2009 22:14

Another try, but maybe not a low enough scoop neck.

JackieNo · 04/11/2009 22:22

Could you do a cowl neck?
Cable knit poss a bit short.

Report
JackieNo · 04/11/2009 22:24

Perfect sweater dress is an oxymoron.

I've just bought this one.
Will look great with a long-sleeved t-shirt underneath.

Reccomend the Boden ones which I currently live in. How about this monsoon one ?

This dress is very figure flattering. I'm an F cup and the neckline is perfect. The dewberry colour is grey IRL, comes in black too.
