Help, I need a pair of boots that will fit my really narrow feet.

I tried on the Lytton riding boots from Hobbs
www.hobbs.co.uk/index.cfm?page=1017&productid=0209-N70B-019H200&productvarid=0209-N70B-019H200-BLACK -36 and loved them, narrow in the foot, gorgeous. Wore them and had blisters everywhere up my ankle and calves, so returned.

I have also tried on the Oristano from Duo, which I didn't like as much, and were far, far too wide in the foot.

I've been to Clarks and had no success due to wide fit in the foot.

Any suggestions?? Anyone know of other Duo boots that run narrow in the foot? (was this an Oristano problem?) Must be flat or very low heel.

My goal is to get a pair of boots that I can wear over jeans. Maybe a shiny pair. I have a beautiful pair also from Hobbs, but they can only be worn with tights.

Hmm trying to think what I got that was ridiculously narrow...

I am really glad Hobbs took your boots back though, was it you with that thread?

Yes, it was! And they were great about it, too. Didn't even need to show them the blisters ;)

I was wondering if anyone had tried the Boden patent ones?

I tried these. In blue. DH gasped in horror as I unwrapped them and said they looked like plastic. They fitted very well (size 42, v narrow feet, narrow ankles, 42cm calves). But they didn't look as classy as I'd hoped so I reluctantly agreed with DH and sent em back.

I did wonder about the Boden boots - was thinking about the flat ones but wanted to know if they looked totally synthetic - doesn't sound good, Aarghhelp!

I think that the brown ones are a bit more casual than what I'm looking for (and I need black, as I have almost no brown in the wardrobe).

Sigh. I am going to Italy in Dec and may try there, as I've found Italian shoes tend to run narrower.

I do love those Hobbs ones. I only managed to wear them for about 2 hours but had people emailing me with compliments! I could just get someone to cart me around in a sedan chair and wear whatever I like on my feet.

Noddy and Cibyl - scanning down, they're definitely PVC that's meant to look like leather....they are lovely for a casual boot, though!
