you know, her off youtube.

Top set on left looks good and her eye primer seems great for those of us whose make up slides off by elevenses

god, i think she's RUBBISH. it all looks the same, all shiny and moon-faced. and i never find kits any use at all, better to make up a kit if you really want one with cosmetics a la carte.

really? i swear i can't see the difference whether she's doing pastels or smokes. but then i guess i'm in the minority, i think she gets about a zillion hits a day. can't believe she's got her own range, man alive...

moon-faced is a bit mean. didn't she just have a baby

Report
AitchTwoToTangOh · 30/10/2009 21:59

did she? how is moon-faced mean? her face is big and round, is it not? that's not baby-related, unless she's been pregnant for the last three years.

it's like jackie magazine guides but in real life!

I've only seen her make-up tips in the Guardian. They do all look the same and there's absolutely nothing glamorous about it. She looks the same at the end as she did at the beginning. Emperor's new clothes?

how mean of them

well, baby or not, I think it's horrible to refer to someone as moon-faced, or have I typed the popbitch url in by accident tonight?

She had an 11yo son when she was a teenager.

I think I'd be more inclined to try it if they weren't kits (never use more than one or two of these) - they aren't tested on animals which I like.

From what I've seen, she applies make up quite nicely (so do I), but she doesn't explain how to deal with different facial features. Eg., I have deep-set eyes and should never be seen wearing the 'smokey' look (pissholes in the snow).

But she doesn't seem to advise on how to find what suits you.

Oh calm down. Moon-faced isn't the cruellest insult in the world.

I have only seen her in the Guardian too. Agree that the outcome always looks the same. And soooo....... erm...... greasy.

Not impressed.

i noticed that the guardian has ditched her make-up lessons, she's just reviewing their products now, presumably for free, in return for the publicity. sodding skint newspapers.

at aitch's description of "shiny moon faced" - the Guardian should stick loyally by its ugly readership and not try so much to change them.

Arf.

Aitch, don't you know there will be a piece in the Daily Mail tomorrow titled "MoonNetfacegate" and a whole 2 pages dedicated to your attack on a youtube wonder.

Swedes, I despair at you stereotyping all readers of the Guardian as ugly! But then that's okay cos I don't read it...
