What's the general feeling on these?

stakethroughtheheartofgold Thu 29-Oct-09 10:30:31

can go either way rockabilly/bet lynch, depends.

With skinny jeans, long sleeve tee, long cashmere cardi?

Stake, have you namechanged? You are familiar, but your name isn't....?

PCPlumIsMyHomeboy Thu 29-Oct-09 10:38:18

sounds cute, worn like that

I'm all for them. In fact in my quest for a perfect green purple pair of pumps I would consider a pair of leopard print ones, instead. Tell me if you find a good pair LTEC. grin

stakethroughtheheartofgold Thu 29-Oct-09 10:43:10

oh didn't spot it was you ltec, on you will be fiiiiine.

was millenniumfalcon/mwff, now heartofgold, currently in fancy dress.

I love them - but I love a bit of leopard.

Have got a pair of leopard print shoes that I have worn to death with straight leg indigo jeans.

Always get people saying how lovely they are.

You're not shopping are you? I presume this is purely market research wink

MustNotEatCake Thu 29-Oct-09 10:48:18

Birthday present from my dad... So it's not me shopping, it's me helping him not to waste his money LOL

BudaBones Thu 29-Oct-09 10:49:16

Sounds nice. If you find some link please!

Seededbiatch Thu 29-Oct-09 10:49:47

I love my leopard print pumps, in fact I think I need new ones, I've worn these ones out.

MustNotEatCake Thu 29-Oct-09 10:50:12

Traceybath, I must confess to some chocolate scoffage last night....

MustNotEatCake Thu 29-Oct-09 10:52:38

Well I did see some decent ones for about £30 in Office the other week, but am now looking at some Pump &Circumstance ones... Don't think the birthday budget will stretch to French sole and I deplore the whole toe cleavage thing...

Bit of a cliche. Reminds me of Tessa Jowell wearing some leopard shoes!

traceybath Thu 29-Oct-09 11:38:18

I too had chocolate last night but it was dark and had nuts in it so practically a health food.

Fruitbeard Thu 29-Oct-09 12:46:47

They've got them in M&S at the moment (half-sizes, yay!) - wouldn't wear them myself but I can see they'd look good with the skinny jeans thing...

SuzeMcG Thu 29-Oct-09 13:03:05

I love them. Russell and Bromley always have great leopard print ballet pumps.

dexter73 Thu 29-Oct-09 19:03:35

My dh thinks they are worn by older women trying to look a bit 'with it'. I like them but I have to say I agree with him.

BEAUTlFUL Thu 29-Oct-09 19:08:18

Top Shop has some lovely ponyskin zebra ballet pumps.

MustNotEatCake Thu 29-Oct-09 21:36:57

older women trying to look with it ... yikes, scarily accurate

ah well, I've bought 'em now. Thanks dad smile

hf128219 Thu 29-Oct-09 21:39:11

I love Leopard print. M&S have some nice Zebra ones at the mo too.

AngelinaJolly Thu 29-Oct-09 22:09:25

Yay- if they are a punctuation to otherwise demure outfit; great with long dark skinnies.
Nay- if it's to match your chiffon blouse/ handbag <arf> or with beige.

which ones did your dad get?

AngelinaJolly Thu 29-Oct-09 22:09:48

for you!

MustNotEatCake Thu 29-Oct-09 22:17:10

LOL at the thought of my dad in leopard pumps!!

am going to give these a whirl

ADifferentMe Thu 29-Oct-09 22:20:37

I have the Autograph ones and I'm the older woman described by Dexter's DH! I am 47 fwiw.

I wear them either with skinnies and cashmere or black Zara ankle skimmers and a white shirt.
