Can a pear with a baby belly wear this dress?

After extensive lurking on Aitch's dress thread I have realised I am not an apple though I do have the stomach of one. But there's still a waist there so think I am a pear. Not quite as rounded as a bell... might be a skittle actually. Sounds more exciting anyhow.

Would this work, in a 16?

I am so so so sick of jeans.

What about this one?

i don't think that wrap dresses are great if you have a tummy.

like the other one

Yes, just wondered if it not being an actual wrap with gape potential, and the pleating underneath the bust might be forgiving. But you are probably right.

Think £30 is worth a gamble I reckon. I don't want anything fancy, just for wearing around the house, toddler group, etc.

Hmm, off to read tights thread...

Dis, maybe that's why I think it looks comfy? blush

what type of dresses do you wear?

Pre baby I wore shirt dresses or pinafore styles over long-sleeved tops <heavy sigh> but am just a different shape now.
