scrill down through Amy Winehouse train wreck to Lily

CybilWrites Tue 27-Oct-09 08:15:27

yes I really really do

PoisonToadstool Tue 27-Oct-09 08:17:21

Tis nice, is your hair v straight? envy

traceybath Tue 27-Oct-09 08:18:33

would it not get in your eyes?

Very stylish though.

CybilWrites Tue 27-Oct-09 08:19:58

I want it to get in my eyes to hide the deeply etched wrinkles on my forehead

My hair goes straight the day after washing, but I reckon that style could be worn wavy with a thick fringe

Bambinoloveseggbirds Tue 27-Oct-09 08:28:20

I love it and if you can live with it falling that way so close to your eyes then I say go for it. It's such a long fringe that it would probably take only a few weeks to grow out if you hate it.

Speaking of which, I must resurrect my "should I have a fringe" thread as I am bottling out a bit again, and I have my appointment next week.

I've just dyed my hair that I feel I must be channelling Lily on some level

<gets out kohl pencil and B&H>

Do it do it. I love a long fringe as you can clip it back in drizzle (frizz) but I wear glasses so it is just a nuisance really

me too

i was looking at pics of chrissie hynde yesterday and realised everyone looks like her now.

although i've spent aaaages going from red to blonde - if i went dark now everyone would reckon i'd gone into witness protection or something

CybilWrites Tue 27-Oct-09 11:26:33

Yes Chrissie Hynde always looks dead cool.

I like it too and am considering a restyle...

cornsilk Tue 27-Oct-09 11:31:21

Although my hair isn't that colour and I am about 70 years older than her.

cornsilk Tue 27-Oct-09 11:31:51

lol korma we'll all be asking for a Lily!

CybilWrites Tue 27-Oct-09 11:32:59

ok korma we will both get lily's then compare.

TspookyChasm Tue 27-Oct-09 11:33:06

It's nice. Do you have dark hair like Lily? I love her dark shiney hair.

(Don't accidentally show the hairdresser the Robert Plant photo by mistake grin)

Pluginbaby Tue 27-Oct-09 11:34:28

Me too, was thinking exactly the same thing this morning and have hair appoint booked for thursday so a real possibility

MenWhoStareAtMe Tue 27-Oct-09 11:35:27

make sure you have a good hairdresser and are prepared to commit to hairdrying or else you might end up like this

CybilWrites Tue 27-Oct-09 11:35:36

Spooky have just dyed hair darker, and has miraculously gorn shinier too. But I think even on a wavy day that style could work

CybilWrites Tue 27-Oct-09 11:36:23

Menwho, omg can you imagine?

MenWhoStareAtMe Tue 27-Oct-09 11:37:16

yes i can!
