I need some slippers - please can anyone help?

Help! I need some slippers which will keep my feet warm and stay on my feet. My left foot doesn't work very well so I have to have any footwear tied / strapped on and it also gets cold so I need something which will keep it warm.

I also want to wear them round the house during the day when I'm wearing skirts / tights etc and not look too silly, but possibly have tough soles so I can take the rubbish out!

It's probably a tall order, but does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks.

Uggs?

Confortina?
Incline shoe?
Would anything like these work?
How much support/strapping on do you need?

The Confortina looks possible, but not sure how warm they would be. Has to be a full 'shoe' as anything without a back falls off. I've no feeling in the foot and very little movement.

Uggs might work, but the ones I've seen don't appear to give much support as they look as though you slop around in them a bit.

I should have said 'thank you' Pacific - sorry for being rude.

I think uggs are on the big side, but if you tried the tall ones, in a snug fit they might be quite good. Definately go to a shop and try them on though rather than just buy your usual size online.

Any of these fitflops? I can't see the ones I am thinking of, maybe they are another make, but I think these look like Ugg type things but with better support.

These are great if the moccasins give you enough support. The soles are fine for trips out to the bin/car etc.
The ultimate, if you have severe problems with your foot would be these. Expensive but excellent quality though not a fashion item.

Thank you very much for all the suggestions. I hope I'll have time to look through them all this evening.

I want these in red to match my water bottle. I can't believe that at the relatively young age of 31, I am actually matching my slippers to my hot water bottle. WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO ME!!!??? HELP...

Not so keen on these, but I think they answer your brief and look comfy.
