and some decent thick tights.

and a causal dress and a top or two..

no getting silly going out things, you cannot afford it you need practical day things!

and they do it in grey also.

I'll stop stalking you now- I seem to be on all your threads!

overmydeadbody Wed 21-Oct-09 15:34:57

the dress is good. Fits the casual dress criteria but can also be glammed up for going out.

I may just use this thread mylsef is that is ok?

notamumyetbutoneday Wed 21-Oct-09 15:35:19 sorry

overmydeadbody Wed 21-Oct-09 15:35:42

good value peakocks dress, but I was under the impression peacocks was for old ladies, or am I thinking of another shop?

overmydeadbody Wed 21-Oct-09 15:38:17

don't like the green one, too chunky

carriedababi Wed 21-Oct-09 15:38:33

hblack impractical top

notamumyetbutoneday Wed 21-Oct-09 15:39:12

I think it was OMDB, but they 'revamped' a couple of years ago and have had some great buys over the last few months especially. I prefer to buy online as the shop itself can be a bit of a bunfight- ona saturday when i would go, anyway.

carriedababi Wed 21-Oct-09 15:42:03

not a mummy, thanks for link, i don't suit blue but i like this

omdb, yes please feel free to use this thread toosmile
we can do a virtual shopping trip together.
which dress did you think was good?

notamumyetbutoneday Wed 21-Oct-09 15:44:15

Yes very nice. If you want help re: sizing, Im usually squeezing out of a size 12 but found the 10-12 in the blue one fits perfectly (they do annoying 10-12, 14-16 sizes).

carriedababi Wed 21-Oct-09 15:44:17

this is a bit too dressy for doing my sahm things

carriedababi Wed 21-Oct-09 15:46:19

like this too but a bit too dressy for everyday

notamumyetbutoneday Wed 21-Oct-09 15:52:06

Oh I LOVE the wrap dress. I dont think thats too dressy- maybe for everyday but there are sure to be occasions when you would wear it. its a very classic style. The first one would date quickly IMO.

carriedababi Wed 21-Oct-09 15:55:19

i'd like the wrap with bright pink tight and bright pink beads...

plain green top

carriedababi Wed 21-Oct-09 15:57:45

black top short sleevs again

kateecass Wed 21-Oct-09 16:08:39

ooh that mink dress is nice might steal your idea!

carriedababi Wed 21-Oct-09 16:13:32

black cowl neck dress

kate feel free, i think i prefer the mink to the black one ive just linked as ive got dark hair and it stands out more against mink rather than black.
the mink ones not bad for 45, or where you thinkinf of the peacocks one?

carriedababi Wed 21-Oct-09 16:15:45

too dressy again, but just thought i'd add it

carriedababi Wed 21-Oct-09 16:32:01

carriedababi Wed 21-Oct-09 16:43:49

NorkilyChallenged Wed 21-Oct-09 20:26:36

Oooh thanks for the link to those Peacocks dresses, I am sorely tempted!

Carrie - my favourite of your casual dresses so far is the black cowl neck Oasis one. I've had my eye on that though would prefer to spend a bit less really (for something that's essentially going to have yoghurt, snot and drool all over it most days)

How do you feel about kimono sleeves?

And had you seen this khaki dress is £30 in the sale. Lots of other lovely colours but everything other than khaki is £50.
