Can anyone recommend thick opaque tights (but not the woolly ones) that won't end up with loads of holes in straightaway

Thanks.

Boots used to do good smooth ones. I have the same two pairs I bought from Boots about 4 years ago, still going strong.

I like the M&S Autograph ones. They are 6 pounds.

M&S tights are good and so are Matalans

I have Dior and Woolford tights that are older than my children, that are still going strong, so definitly worth the £££

support tights are really good at lasting years, do they come in opaque?

I find Primark opaque ones pretty reasonable for the cost (about £2.50/£3 for 3 pairs) although the legs are often on the short side so not much use if you are tall......

DD has to wear opaque tights for school.

She's been going through them like water.

Tesco/Asdasupermarkets are rubbish.

M&S are OK.

Heard good things abour Primark but not ventured in there yet to buy some.

Support tights sound like a really good idea.

I've actually been impressed with some Tesco ones that I've bought recently - I have brown and black, and they've been great. Never thought of trying Tesco for adult tights before.

i've always got the M&S opaque ones, but frankly I prefer John Lewis cotton knit ones.
much warmer.

Aah Verity - I used to wear those glossy Wolfords all the time back in the day. Glad to see they are still going strong. They were a mere £20 quid back then (early '90s).
But they are fabulous and last for aaaages.

Me too hellza! I was looking for tights yesterday and had a 90s flashback, I used to have them in black, navy and, wait for it....gold!! I have no idea what happened to them all. I used to buy them in the sales where they always had a box of slightly imperfect ones sold at half price.

So I took a deep breath and paid 43Euro for nostalgic reasons. But, in my defence, they make your legs look (and feel) amazing

Marks and Spencer do opaque hold ups - seem very good quality and won't dig in to your bump

Hiya, I just got a pair of 120 denier tights from New Look, and they are surprisingly good quality..... and were only £6!

It depends on how you feel today,if you feel glam and elegant, darkish tights, charcoal or black, but add a nice piece of jewellery...pearls, chrystals, beads...if you want to look cool, its all about the eighties look right now, so any bright colour tights would look supercute. Electric blue, red, even gold...be daring try it! Outrageous earring with compliment this look or just hoops. Good luck!
