As the glowing summer tan becomes a distant memory and the toll of early mornings and two demanding kiddies takes it toll have really noticed my face looks slightly grey, pale and very tired. Need an instant fix, you know the kind of thing you can do in two mins before facing the school run looking radiant. Can't really do foundation but have tried tinted moisturiser with limited success! Any ideas greatly appreciated.

fake tan last thing at night. I use St tropez everyday but the one for the body,it's fine on the face. Plus blusher...do you wear that? Makes even the greyest of faces look more lively.

yes

I read an article on face things and ageing once that really struck a chord. the best way to keep yourself looking radiant is exoliation as it generates new cell production( is that crap - I failed Biology)

I reccy Lancome exoliator as the particles are really small and rough. Do it twice a week on dry skin for best effect.

Alwasy use night cream.
rethink your make up - its really worht spending £££ on good foundation and take your time choosing - dont be rushed into it. Ime its best to be really uprfont tot eh make up girl and tell her "i have wasted mucho dinero in the past and so I really need to try this on my face not my forearm and then go outside and look at it."

Also move to a cream blush, I recntntly got a Bobbi brown pot of rouge I like btu I think the ( is it maybelline) mouuses are good.
cream blush is a lot less ageing than powder. Also dont just buy a dull rose colour, try some different ones.

For the "in a hurry" look I say a slick of tinted moisturieser ( I like the bobbi brown tinted balm complete with poncey brush i got cheaply on ebay) some blusher, and some mascara.

As the woman in the Paris Sephora siad to me when i had 3 under 4 and said I had no time to make up

" boof ..you' av faive minutes non..?"

adn ladies she was right.

I have tried the following with varying success

Clarins Beauty flash balm-made no real odds but made makeup last longer

Benefit That Gal..not bad but a bit too sparkly for day iyswim

Loreal face primer thing that I cant remember what it was called-was rubbish anyway

Sanctuary 24 hours radiance moisturiser.Smelled horrid (but I dont like the smell of of any Sanctuary stuff anyway) but actually worked very well until about day 5 when it bought me out in really awful spots.

Benefit Moon beam-supposed to be a highlighter but worked quite well when mixed a small bit into foundation or normal moisturiser.Probably the best of the lot but not a miracle cure by any means.

I do need a miracle really-my face actually looked grey this morning.

By Terry Light Expert is what you need.

It is the most amazing stuff I have ever put on my skin, it justs looks like you have flicked a switch and turned on your inner glow.

I would go without food to afford it

Fake tan.

Either a facial spray or the moisturiser, use them at night. If I stop I look like Halloween has come early.

Yes..meant to say blusher-something light pinkish or coral coloured picks the skin up a treat. And a dab of pale eye shadow in the inside corner of the eye also makes you less zombie like.As long as you blend it in well.

Cybil, it is magic. The same woman 'invented' Touche Eclat

I am v,v, v pale so I use the rosy light which looks very pink, but really the result is amazing.

My desert island beauty product.

The MEMEME Pussycat face tint is great. Paint a bit on your cheeks and it looks like you've been for a bracing walk. And it stays on good. And you can stain your lips with it.
