What do 30-somethings wear to 'club it' these days?

Going to a hen party in July and starting to think about what I should wear for the Sat night clubbing bit!

I was a clubber 'in my youth' but it's years since I hit the dancefloor anywhere other than a wedding and I'm not sure what I should be wearing!

Want something flattering and 'clubby' so I don't stand out like a married mother but something 'classy' as well - don't want to look like a tart!

Links to pics would be good!

Oh Enid - PMSL at that thread!

See I'm thinking you can't go wrong with black but I always wear black trousers!

The usual is black trousers, black high-heeled 'sandals' and some top or other.

Snafu - not sure about the club but we are on a hen weekend package thing where we have pole dancing lessons in the afternoon! Meal and salsa lesson then 'top nightclub' = it's in Birmingham.

Don't think you can go too wrong with a good old pair of jeans these days. Dressed up with a nice pair of shoes and a flattering pretty top. AFAIK dressing up is pretty much about dressing down these days!

You could team some jeans up with a nice floaty top and some heels.

jeans, high heels and a slaggy low cut sparkly top should do it
