lol yes I know I ma an utter loon.

Settle down, I'll tell you.

I was in TK MAXX today, buying birthday Bionicles, as you do. Wandered over to the Boot section, more in hope than anything...and what did I see?

Only friggin FRYE boots, about 4 pairs, all in my size. So juggling Bionicles, and a huge leather satchel I was wearing (Why?) I tried them on.

Chose a pair like this with sheepskin warm lining. They fitted round leg! I thought Hmmm, maybe a bit on the short side (mindful of Musty's wise words on long legs need a longer boot) but thought what the hey, they are soo warm, comfy, FRYES for Gods sake, HALF PRICE. So I bought them and grinned all the way home.

Tried them on with skinny jeans. Dd says 'They are lumberjack boots' Dh says 'They look a bit like wellies' and I looked and thought, they are totally right, they were the wrong length, but soo close and sooo warm and FRYES.

THE SEARCH CONTINUES.

I know you are despairing.
