these? cheap and cheerful?

LetThemEatCake Mon 12-Oct-09 11:58:04

oooh yes, not bad - thank you! just wanted a plain scoop neck though, no buttons ... they're for wearing under s/s tees ...

francaghostohollywood Mon 12-Oct-09 11:58:09

I'm just wearing a fab one that I got in zara last month (always worth checking)
Petit Bateau has adult long sleeved tees, not sure if they have stripey ones at the moment.

How tall are you ltec?
H&M has some gorgeous stripey tees (for 9.99 euros here) in the boys dept (8-14 yrs old), but you might be too tall for those

They always have lots in Primark if you have one nearby?

LetThemEatCake Mon 12-Oct-09 12:08:03

oooh yes, I do have a Primark nearby, so hard to shop there with the dcs though!!!!!

Hi Franca - think I'd be too tall for a boys one, am 5'10 .... and - sod bugger scheisse - was in Zara last week and thought that theirs were nice, why did I not pick up a few then???!!!

Dare I say it? Lands End. I have bought a couple of tops from them as they go to hip length rather than stopping on the waist, which is my widest point. I do worry that buying from them might be hastening me towards old age though.

francaghostohollywood Mon 12-Oct-09 12:48:54

Oh no, I know! I have regretted not buying things I liked in zara a few times. Certain items disappear from one day to the other.

Gap or Topshop? Topshop has quite a few in different colours. They look long.

Bleh Mon 12-Oct-09 13:00:35

Only they're not stripy at TopShop. Sorry

CHOOGIRL Mon 12-Oct-09 14:20:02

Hi Cake Hope all is well. Is this the sort of thing you are after? I realise it doesn't meet the no ££££ brief but has the benefit that it can be ordered without leaving the house.

Couple of nice ones at Brora.

CHOOGIRL Mon 12-Oct-09 15:03:53
