Where would you wear them?

Scorps Thu 08-Oct-09 16:27:43

I LOVE them

I would wear them with jeans, plain tops.

pookamoo Thu 08-Oct-09 16:27:52

If you are a burglar, to go with the rest of your stripy outfit? grin

Minging beyond belief.

To the zoo perhaps, if you were trying to "pull" a zebra? wink

cocolepew Thu 08-Oct-09 16:30:37

I saw a man wearing Uggs. It was just wrong.

Doyouthinktheysaurus Thu 08-Oct-09 16:30:38

In a way, I kind of hope I do see someone wearing will bring a smile to my daygrin

They are so bad.

WhereTheWildThingsWere Thu 08-Oct-09 16:32:04

Oooh, Muggs v. bad.

pushmepullyou Thu 08-Oct-09 16:32:26

I kind of like them blush blush blush <hangs head in shame>

Don't like 'normal' Uggs as too big and chunky, not to mention the Claire's Accessories tackiness of them.

Have to admit they would only be any good for cold dry days though, which we don't get many of up in the Pennines (dry days that is - plenty of cold ones!)

dexter73 Thu 08-Oct-09 16:38:20

I like them but only as a pair of slippers. I saw them in the Ugg shop and could not believe the price!

Trikken Thu 08-Oct-09 16:39:40

it should be 'Eurgh' instead of Ugg.

LaurieFairyCake Thu 08-Oct-09 16:40:10

I also like them

clearly looking like a twat is my forte

50ftQueenie Thu 08-Oct-09 16:41:23

I can't understand how anyone can justify charging £100+ for woolen boots. FFS, they're knitted! They're hardly going to keep your feet dry are they? They are for those with more money than sense clearly. <straightens glasses, ruffles knitting>

lisad123wantsherquoteinDM Thu 08-Oct-09 16:51:11

I love them would prefer if they were pink and black striped though

pushmepullyou Thu 08-Oct-09 16:56:47

I saw them in House of fraser the other week and would have bought them if they'd been lined, but couldn't justify them unlined

deaddei Thu 08-Oct-09 16:58:29

Boots of Satan.

chattermouse Thu 08-Oct-09 17:50:38

I like them but would not get them as would not go with many items in my wardrobe - would only look ok with plain black, white or grey clothes i reckon.

NorbertDentressangle Thu 08-Oct-09 17:52:58

£100+ for a pair of socks with a bit of rubber stuck to the bottom hmm

Heifer Thu 08-Oct-09 17:57:22

I saw someone wearing those in Liverpool 1 yesterday (or could have been this morning - days become a blur)..

They didn't look bad at all, in fact they actually looked quite nice, honestly!

To be fair though, I think the woman wearing them could make a bin liner look good envy

FlightAttendant Thu 08-Oct-09 17:59:51

what is the appeal? You would look like an arctic bee.
