Lovely coat for teeny tiny folk

does it HAVE to have fur?

bibbitybobbityCAT Mon 05-Oct-09 22:51:37

Ooooh, someone else linked to that coat the other day.

moondog Mon 05-Oct-09 22:53:18

I think it was me Cat!
Cybill, i lloked at the Hobbs stuff and it seemed a wee bit dreary this year. Also, i've bought nowt but long plain black coats for years so wanted a tiny bit of variation.

PCPlumIsMyHomeboy Mon 05-Oct-09 22:57:02

any good?

FimboFortunaFeet Mon 05-Oct-09 22:57:47

alas no fur

cornsilk Mon 05-Oct-09 22:58:58

Fimbo -The Lindsay coat is gorgeous - do you have to be tall to wear their stuff?

FimboFortunaFeet Mon 05-Oct-09 23:00:55

too short?

FimboFortunaFeet Mon 05-Oct-09 23:02:50

I am 5ft 8 and too short for their trousers. I agree the coat is gorgeous but when you look at the model it is slightly above the knee, so you may be able to get away with it depending on your height.

Wee bit frumpy Plum as is the second suggestion from Fimbo (thank you so much for helkping though!) but that LTS one is divine. Are they 5 8 and above? I'm 5 7. Will it look too big?

FimboFortunaFeet Mon 05-Oct-09 23:06:08

I think it really is one of those things that need to be tried on.

Are you near an LTS shop? I could go and try it on but it wouldn't be until the weekend after next.

Not fur, but lovely shape:

My nearest Liverpool and Chester but working every hours God sends and having a dh on other side of the world limits frivolous forays into clothes shops at present.....

cornsilk Mon 05-Oct-09 23:08:24

Not as keen now I've seen it on the model actually - bit flary at the bottom. I love the general style of the top bit though.

moondog Mon 05-Oct-09 23:08:43

Plum, those sleeves. i'd be always trying to straighten them out!

FimboFortunaFeet Mon 05-Oct-09 23:13:53

Sorry I just had to show you this horror.

moondog Mon 05-Oct-09 23:15:09

I can see it working on the right sort of woman...who definitely isn't me though!

I wonder if Karen Millen have changed their designers. I don't like any of their stuff at the moment.
