DH is taking me to a trendy restuarant in London for our wedding anniversary. I am clueless about what to wear and need your advice. I am 5ft 4in, size 14. apple shaped so my legs are not bad but I have a tyre around my middle , blonde hair and I a 35 but look early 30s (even if I do say so myself!). I would rather order online as I can't get to the shops easily with 2 unde 5s in tow. Budget up to £150 preferablly less. I was thinking of a dress but always end up lookin frumpy.

wear this with opaque tights and these or these - you'll look gorgeous. oh, and big earrings (no necklace).

Think the monsoon dress too long - she's 5'4

Hmmmm........

I like the shoes. I would never have chosen them but they are lovely. Not so sure about the dress. I have fairly big norks so not sure how it would look. I am thinking one of the shoes, opaque tights and a dress just above knee length would look good.

I am 5' 2 and a size 12 hour glass and that dress would look hideous on me. I don't think it would suit the op tbh.

Try Warehouse - they often have just above the knee silk dresses for decent prices.

just looked, and its sold out in every size except 14 and 8, so i guess lots of people of all different sizes thought they looked great in it... anyway - i love it! one of the most flattering things i own

Do you know which restaurant you are going to? To give an idea of dress code.
