I'm a bit bored with uk sites and thought I could have a look at the US sites.

Any reccomendations?

definitely check out the gap.com. I would never have made it until now without them! I wish Gap UK would sell their maternity line.

Also check out babystyle.com. I know many more but appear to be suffering from pregnancy brain...will post again. Good luck!

do you want grown up or childrens clothes?
For children you can order from Gymboree and their posh version, Janie and Jack
Gap is good but they won't deliver to the uk.
You have to watch out for tax when receiving the parcel. I've never paid it on orders from the above and think this is because they are delivered via Germany. But don't hold me to that!

I was wanting clothes for myself. Trying to find a US version of Topshop, H&M etc.

I've had a look at Gap but like you said they don't deliver to the UK which is a real shame.

I've been looking but I can't seem to find anything.

Ah...so non-maternity? Try Bananarepublic.com, Garnethill.com, jcrew.com is terrific. Have fun!

Try Dr Jays

I would say the somewhat equivalent of H&M in the US is Old Navy (www.oldnavy.com), Cheaper, seasonal, funkier stuff. Not the stylish will last forever kind of clothes...
If you want more grown up or stylish you can try Banana republic or J Crew

Don't know anything about shipping and taxes to UK....
