What, if any, is the difference between male and female perfumes?

Women's perfumes mostly smell of cheap sweets.
Men's perfumes mostly smell of furniture polish.

I used to wear Brut - it was fashionable when i was 12 for girls to wear it - honest blush

I don't think there's much difference tbh - just butch packaging as you say.

I'm wearing the men's prada milano aftershave cos the women's one had a sweet topnote. I think if wears well you then who knows, they can't see the bottle. Gucci (I) is quite musky in the men and women version, the men's is more cigary and the women's has more vanilla.
