I can't wear wool. All the nice jumpers/cardigans/scarves have wool in them...

I am cold every winter, not so much at work because I get hot (teaching) but the rest of the time.

I don't really want to wear fleeces every weekend just to keep warm.

Any suggestions on good layering etc. to keep warm? I have a few cotton polo-necks from petit bateau which are good but not ENOUGH.

(can't buy in UK so just need ideas)

Thanks

I have jumpers from h&m and zara that aren't made with wool, they are either cotton or viscose/nylon. Worth a look. Maybe consider getting some of uniqlo's heat tech clothes, they do t-shirts that are really fine and warm, which should help the non-wool clothes feel warmer without bulking up.

I always have cotton jumpers/ cardis. Much nicer and keeps me from sweating/ itching!!! Can't bear wool either (though have just branched oout into cashmere and I think I might be 'cured'!)

I'll look at uniqlo thanks - haven't seen those clothes.

Can't wear cashmere either.

I have bad eczema and it makes me itch.

I can touch a jumper and I know straight away if there's any wool in it.

Even through cotton layers it itches me (have tried wool skirts which are lined, with tights, still itch me).

Bloody annoying for coats too - am wearing a long black parka-style coat but would love a nice colourful smart one.

A few years ago not much had wool in, now all the winter stuff has a little.

Usually buy cardis etc. in summer because they disappear in winter.
