Anyone recommend any Avon products that are particularly good?

Just been given a catalogue by a friend. Although cheap, are they any good? Thinking about lipsticks and nail varnishes...

I quite like their bras, actually. not fantabulus. but much better than anything else in that price range.

I use their Anew Rejuvenate Day Revitalising cream - but never pay full price! I like it. Also, Anew Clinical Eyelift works wonders on my dark circles but again, it's pricey so I stock up when it's half price.

I like their mineral foundation and nail varnishes too.

Don't buy their version of Touche Eclat - it's sparkly and dry and gathers nicely in your lines with the sparkle drawing attention to them!

Agree on bras..

And Dry Ends serum for your hair - its fab and always on offer.

I use their lipsticks but I'm not a huge fan - they seem to stay on for about 2 nanaoseconds - esp the new one where you can turn up the colour - its the consistancy of a gloss and has the staying power of a gloss, literally seconds.

I use their nail varnish on my toes and its as good as any onther non premium for that...

Another vote for the mascara (and I'm not normally a fan of mascara) - but I love the Color Trend Curling mascara - great shaped wand. I also really like the Color Rich Mousse lipstick in Frozen Roase. Wasnt overley impressed with the mineral make-up found it like thick talcum powder and made me ghost-like! (Perhaps I was applying it wrong??!?) The Color Trend eyeliner is fine too -the pencil is REALLY long!!

I love their glimmersticks eyeliners and brow definers, its all I use. DH uses their sensitive aftershave balm, he started using it when i was a rep and now wont use anyhting else even though Im not a rep anymore.

Also the colour trend lip and cheek tint in peekaboo is the best and cheapest cream blusher ever, lasts for eons and stays all day.

mummee ive looked at the skin perfector befopre when it was half price but Im not really sure what to do with it? Do you wear it under foundation or instead of? What did you feel it did for your skin?

Sorry for all the questions!!!

hiya, you put it on over your moisturiser but under your foundation or powder or what ever u use.

it evens out the skin tone, minimises pores and makes it look matte (but not TOO matte IYKWIM) and seems to do something to get rid of fine lines - i dunno if it fills them or just blurs them out somehow! but it WORKS! and even better it is SPF20 so protects your skin at the same time.

it is still half price i think, go get some, honestly, its brilliant.

i tried a similar clarins one (called perfection touch or something i think) which was brilliant but really expensive, but this avon one does exactly the same thing.

hope i have helped! xx
