Fitflop boots

I lived in my fitflops all summer and have just found out they do boots. see here. I like the tall ones but they're seriously pricey (£199) and wondered if anyone has them and what they're like?

I don't have them but like you, I lived in my fitflops this summer. I was considering buying fitflop 'Billows' this winter but it looks as though they are discontinued and they have a new range of fitflop boots. I quite like the look of the Muckluks - they are the nearest equivalent to last year's Billows - am a bit scared they will look like granny boots.

I bought some chesnut mukluks this afternoon. They had a few Billows left from last winter, not in my size, smaller, reduced to £70. They knocked £10 off the Mukluks which made them £115 so they are still very expensive but it was like wearing slippers, I have only taken them off to spray extra scotchguard this evening in anticipation of wearing them for the next 6 months

Yadda, MoZiMo had the long fitflop boots too which looked gorgeous - I would have gone for these but I already have long black shearling boots so I bought the short chesnut ones - easy access and quicker to get on/off than the longer boots.

So are the boots seriously comfy then? I need to find somewhere I can try them on. I've got dodgy knees and a not brilliant back and found my fitflops really helped so I'm seriously tempted by the boots. What are the soles like? I've got some Uggs and they're useless because the soles are so flat. I may see if my family will contribute as an Xmas present...

Yadda - they are so comfortable - I've just stuck my hand in to feel the sole - and it is identical to the fitflop sole - rubbery but they feel snuggly because the sides are sheepskin. It's funny but until I stuck my hand in just know, I assumed the sole would be sheepskin too - I wore them with socks (recommended you wear them barefoot I think I read) so didn't realise they were rubber (or whatever) just like the fitflops. I went down a size for my fitflops so I got the same size for the mukluks - perfect fit. You will be able to order online the same size as your fitflops and know they will fit.

I've just had a look at my fitflops - the shape and structure of my mukluks mirrors the fitflops so I guess the longer boots will too, the outside is covered in suede. My DD has Uggs - they feel very different and are much wider and flatter, no 'support' and not so neat-fitting although I do love these too and have partly bought the mukluks to stop me from borrowing her Uggs when she is at school.
