Set to continue for another week.
I want it cold and crisp so I can show off my new boots.

I'm quite happy for it to stay like this for a couple of weeks yet.... all our stuff was put in to storage in mid July for our house move, and we still haven't moved in yet, the only shoes I've got are birkenstocks and flip flops! I really didn't plan terribly well, but I had no idea it would take 9 weeks (and counting!)

I am torn.

I would be loving this weather if I hadn't already put away all my summer clothes in something of a huff a week ago when it was cold and crappy here.

Love the days when you can wrap up all warm and snuggly and show off new boots .

28 degrees for me.

I have boot envy for 10 months of the year.

Completely agree with you Deaddei.

I folded and put away all my Summer clothes last weekend. Bought two new coats (One red, one yellow since you ask), new boots, new jeans and two new pairs of shoes and then the sun comes out! If I'd had known a bit of Autumnal clothes shopping brought the sun out I'd have done it weeks ago.

Convinced myself that although it was sunny today it was breezy enough for boots and long cardi. Took the dogs for a trek on the North Downs and was sweltering. Stuck to my guns though and kept cardi on!

Geordieminx...radiators on!! Oh it gets better. We did have the underfloor heating on in the kitchen last night, because it IS a bit nippy in the evenings. In fact I have a pair of socks on and my slippers.
I long for the glasses of red, casseroles and hearty food- we had chicken salad tonight- I am sick of bloody salad. I want parsnips, Jamie's beef stew and a steamed sponge pudding with custard.

Pants in the garden?

It is a bit nippy here - I have got my boots out. AND we had toad in the hole for dinner!

I am thinking of new pashmina and knitwear purchases.

Not brilliant down South today, cloudy, about 18 degrees.

The nice stuff is only supposed to last until Friday at the latest then we will all be plunged into Autumn.
