Are Whistles clothes worth the cost ?

Tried on a lovely jumper in Whistles today, sorry can't do links but it was gorgeously soft and had a pulled in waist bit at the back which made it slightly special. However at £89.99 I just couldn't justify it. Am I right to think this is too much for a jumper or is that just what nice things cost these days ? I usually buy my clothes in Sainsburys , M&S or Boden in the sales.

More importantly does anyone have a Whistles discount code (think I could justify it if 20% off she says hopefully)

I have a discount code from Grazia - give me 10 minutes and I will get it.

Personally I like Whistles, have stuff I have worn for years. Whether it is worth the cost it depends on your benchmark. I don't think it is particularly expensive - but comparing to M&S/Sainsbury's is a bit like comparing apples and pears.

From Martin Lewis's money saving expert website....

Grab Sept?s Grazia mag (£1.95, Mischa Barton on the front) and you'll get a voucher for 25% off at posh clothing retailer Whistles until Fri 2 Oct. To get the discount in store, just cut out the voucher and hand it over at the till. To get it online, enter the code on the voucher at the online checkout.

I've had a couple of things from Whistles and I think they're very good quality.

25% off is jolly good too.

Ooh fantastic 25% off makes it much more justifiable, thanks mumsnetters

I have a jumper from Whistles that is 8 years old and still going strong!
