Tis v lovely BUT I would just be mindful of the waist gather and where it would fall. If you were smaller of norkage it may be OK.

It also looks quite short on the model - more like an oversized jumper. I think if it flared out a bit at the bottom it would be a better line.

I imagine the sleeves would be really long though, which would look good.

lol, i thought toast were having a spamming campaign. either that or they have lots of lovely dresses...

btw it's okay but surely exactly the same as a million others atm just twice-three times the price?

Sorry not really keen on it - I don't think it would be very flattering either.

I love long sleeves as I have reeeaaally long arms. My dad says there is a gibbon in our family tree!

I bought a virtually identical one from george at Asda last year.

LTEC, where do you keep all your clothes??

Am v small up top.... Quite tall too although about to have a baby today (I think) so not sure how long til my legs are good again... Funny as hem seems to be banded on model (yuk) but flared in flat photo (nice)
Agree v sim to other dresses around atm but haven't seen any in such a lovely colour, have you?

LOL, one whole wall of our room is floor to ceiling built ins!

Also, I sell on ebay, give away and long-term loan to friends regularly

You are about to have a baby today?

Report
Merrylegs · 25/09/2009 13:46

Think if you look closely hem is also banded in flat pic but OMG about imminent baby delivering. You should not be toast dress shopping. You should be nesting and breathing and then toast and tea drinking in few hours (hopefully) time.

Also, not good dress if you are planning to BF.

And also, imagine it with milk splurge on shoulder.

(HTH!)

I love the idea of sweater dresses (and this one is lovely), but IME they get ruined very quickly and get huge on the bum iyswim...

I was thinking about you this morning ( while clothes shopping of course) wondering if your baby has made an appearance yet!

Hope it's quick and painless!

That is lovely but anyone with bumps would need seriously well fitting structured underwear and tights!

LTEC, I do like the dress.
Have to agree with Cybil, your devotion to fashion knows no bounds, shopping whilst in labour, atta girl.

Good luck, can't wait for the birth announcement

Lovely dress.

I love the idea of shopping whilst in labour. Beats doing the ironing....thats what I did.

Good luck

there's something similar in Matalan for £18 at the moment.

what must you all think of me.

Am not shopping, merely browsing ... holed up in the bedroom while mum and dh look after the dcs downstairs and trying to send off all my work emails and get up to date on my filing!!! Waaaaay too easy to get distracted by the lure of t'internet.

And you are all right, I do not need this dress. Will buy a pink scarf or something instead

On a different note, my Ash high tops just arrived .....

Sod what I think about the dress, I am saluting your style. No 'I think I am in labour, is anybody there?' thread, this is a much more fun way to help you through your labour

Can we look at more dresses for you?
