I love these ones.

Are they uber-cool or uber-naff?

My dd has just got the Bailey boot in black and they are soooo nice. Luckily they fit me too! They were a present from her uncle as he hasn't bought her a Christmas/birthday present for the last 6 years!

fefnone Mon 21-Sep-09 17:22:47

Are these genuine as they are a very good price.

TheShopaholic Mon 21-Sep-09 17:27:15

Ditto fefnon, was just thinking the same thing hmm

Well thats me peed off! I paid £120 for the grey cardys!

I'm in the yay camp, I have tall suede chestnut ones, the grey cardy's and I want the Bailet buttons for this winter, even at full price they are money well spent, they last an age!

Too many fakes around. Also farrrrrrrrrrrrr too many girls wandering around with their nylon Adidas tracksuits tucked into them. No a good look.

Over from a fashion point of view and they go all funny with age, the backs sort of crumple no matter if they are cheapies rip offs or the genuine article.

No doubt warm and comfy but NOT stylish.

I love 'em!

Hulababy Mon 21-Sep-09 17:38:59

I have tall, genuine, ones and I love them. they are so comfortable and cosy, and - better still - a pair of shoes/boots that don't give me blisters!!

Are the OP ones real ones or fake? The price seems amazingly low.

Another nay here - unless you are under 16 imo.

moondog Mon 21-Sep-09 17:50:26

Nay,nay and thrice nay.
Unless you actively want folk to think you have two club feet.

I adore my ugg boots but I'd rather die than step outside my front door in them.

cookielove Mon 21-Sep-09 18:42:56

AnyFucker Mon 21-Sep-09 18:47:47

cookielove Mon 21-Sep-09 18:53:59

well i just tried and my card was declined so maybe not

Deeeja Mon 21-Sep-09 19:09:06

I love my uggs. I have tall ones in chestnut, have lasted well over 3 winters.
Get the originals, worth the money.

I want a pair, but my DH says they look like moonboots and he bets that he could buy an identical looking pair for a tenner on the market.

I still bring them up every Xmas though

cookielove Mon 21-Sep-09 20:07:53

if anyone buys them off this website can they post it on here

Lilyloo Mon 21-Sep-09 20:11:19

I got cardys last year and love them , brought them back out already this year. They haven't crumpled at the back either or make me walk funny which i think many of the fakes do!
The sole on the cardy ones is very thick and stiff so maybe that's why they don't crumple ?

theseboobsaremadeformilking Mon 21-Sep-09 20:27:07

I don't like the cardy ones since that female celeb wore them on big brother.

I have Uggs but do think they are ugly, the fact that they are so damn comfy means I don't care.

I never look at anyone (myself included) and think they look good.

scottishmummy Mon 21-Sep-09 20:37:30

ugg boots are dossy and slack looking.usually worn with spray on jeans and orange face

fiercebadrabbit Mon 21-Sep-09 21:07:09

I was scanning a pair of Ugg ballerinas with sheepskin lining today and coveting [blush}

I thought they'd be very cosy in winter AND chic.

Or have I just totally lost it? smile

noddyholder Mon 21-Sep-09 21:09:38

cardy ones are hideous.I have an old pair long ones and still look in good condition.Saw a long navy pair the other day and was tempted they looked great
