What have you bought or do you plan to buy for your Autumn/Winter wardrobe?

I went a bit mad mainly because last winter I was post baby and too big to get in my clothes so I'm making up for it! Plus I realise I wore my jumpers really short and I don't really want to flash my mummy tummy!

2 Boden Crew Neck Cardis
2 Boden Polo necks on order from preview
Zara Boyfriend Cardigan
White Stuff flowery top
2 plain long sleeve t-shirts
Pair of winter leggings
Fly boots
Tall Uggs

When I look at it now it's all pretty basic rather than fun stuff but really needed it. Still debating which tunic to get!

my winter wardrobe consists mainly of a cardi over my summer wardrobe, with a pair of boots.... What ARE winter leggings??

I did Dexter - and you were the first to reply!!

Winter leggings Lal are jeggings I guess!! Just sound rather trendy but much thicker than my summer ones!

About 6 Uniqlo Heat Teach tops, different styles/ colours
2 Uniqlo leggings
Boden babycord dress
Boden purple moleskin trousers
Boden hooded mac
Uniqlo merino dress
Uniqlo merino cardi

No winter coat/ work suits/ hat/ boots - last year's will do just fine. Also still have loads of trousers and skirts.

I remember the tunics now - Boden one and polo neck one. I would like to try this purple one from White Stuff. Think it would look nice with long sleeved grey top underneath.

That's lovely - hand wash puts me off though with a one-year old!

I've bought two £12 pairs of jeans from M&S - one black, one dark blue
A Boden twisted double-layer top (to use my voucher)
And today's big spending spree
Fatface parka
Fatface boots
Joe Browns dress
Joe Browns chiffon top
And that will be all. I have now officially spent this winter's clothing budget. [grin}
Unless I see a skirt I really like that costs a lot less than this one that I was very tempted by today!

Well I've decided to grow old disgracefully and have bought a leather jacket, a pair of Ash trainers and a fabulous short silk dress with shoulder pads because I've got a few nights out planned between now and Xmas (which I'm probably too old for because I can remember the 80s). Oh, and 2 pairs of bargain jeans (a pair of black sevens and a washed blue pair of replay jeans for £25 each from TK Maxx) And my next purchase is going to be big chunky necklace!

oooohh, dying to properly peruse and join this thread but must get work done TONIGHT, no more dilly dallying!!

LGP, talk to me about Joe Browns - keep seeing mentioned on here but have no prior...

I've had to buy an entirely new wardrobe as weirdly I am 4 dress sizes smaller than last winter with a baby inbetween!

I've bought:

1 x Boden knitted dress
1 x Boden skirt to wear with boots
2 x jersey dresses (Boden and Joules)
1 x pair of long boots (my other pairs are now too big around the calf)
3 x jumpers
1 x Boden cords
1 x Boden cord jacket
1 x swimming cossie
2 x jeans

I do need some basic tops, a pair of leggings and a winter coat but I am waiting a while longer to see if I lose more weight. I've also been selling my old stuff on ebay as I am on maternity leave and pretty skint so replacing my big wardrobe with my small wardrobe may take a bit of time.

There is a Boden bias because I went to the shopping party and took advantage of the offer to get the fourth item for a £1.

I don't know yet LTEC. The catalogues have been turning up in my post for a couple of years but this is the first time I've actually ordered anything. I will submit a full report when the stuff arrives.

So far I've bought

black skinny jeans to wear under
black knee high biker boots
A shortish jersey jacket
blue skinny flare jeans
A black tight long V neck thin jumper to wear over tight tops (£4 from primark-bargain)

and that seems to be it, thought it was a lot more as I have spent loads of money - maybe I've forgotton some things.

Well, so far I have bought:

  • two tops from Gap, same style (very fine t shirt material 3/4 length sleeves, buttons down front) in white and navy blue with stripes
  • white shirt with navy blue stripes from Gap (slight pattern going on here ...)
  • Flowery print cotton shirt dress from H&M which is AMAZING
  • Leopard print scarf

There is more I'm wanting to get, but just haven't found the right things.

I tried on lots of bikinis but they were cut for supamoggels and kept creeping up my arse so I put them back on the shelf

supamoggels don't have to make sandcastles 300 times an hour, they lol in a 5* hotel iirc

it is cold here atm though, I want my summer

I really need boots. And NOAH I am calling you on another thread.

In my minds eye I will be wearing longish cardi''s with 3/4 length sleeves, dark jeans, fab clonky brown boots that fit MY FRIGGIN CALVES, and layering.

ANd I may throw a fab belt around the lot if the mood takes me.

Report
Fimbo · 17/09/2009 17:36

I have these in black. I have chunky calves that would not fit the Mols, but I can get in these.

This is for Cybil btw!
