Want something to wear with my skinny jeans/leggings and my new black fly boots and can't decide between:

www.boden.co.uk/en-GB/Womens-Tunics/WK526/Womens-Henley-Knitted-Tunic.html this one in grey

and...

"www.isabellaoliver.com/womens-clothing/tops/The-Mod-Tunic/D/30100/P/2:600:6000/I/TP426 this one"

I'm 5.7 and size 10 if that helps.

Prefer the Boden one.

Boden, definitely.

AnyFucker Tue 15-Sep-09 21:55:11

I don't like either of 'em

Totally boring and dull, sorry

Mimi1977 Tue 15-Sep-09 21:55:52

Can I ask why too as well please? Would please me to buy boden one as cheaper but a bit of a boden fiend and whilst I do mix stuff I don't want people to think that's all I wear. Do tend to go for classic stuff and notice white company and even Jack Wills have grey henley style so guess could be from anywhere.

I like them both (I am very boring and dull grin) but there was an earlier thread where someone's DH said she looked like a puritan in the Boden one!

I like boden one because it looks more flattering - the neck on the other one would kill a lot of shapes, but then you're slim so the other one would be ok. Think the boden one is more relaxed looking and the other more work wear.

nice with leggins or skinnies

Mimi1977 Tue 15-Sep-09 22:02:28

No worries - can cope with being dull and boring! smile. Just not sure what dull and boring tunic to pick!

I tried this jumper dress on in Dotty Perkins today and was really nice (it is a really awful pic on line!).

scroobiuspirate Tue 15-Sep-09 22:04:21

i like the second one but my god, i have seen better ones than the Boden one for less than half the price.

The IO tunic looks like its made out of that awful material which clings really horrendously...mind you being 5 7 and a 10 you probably don't have to worry about that grin

But the boden 1 looks a bit blah...sorry not much help here!

Nothing wrong with boring and dull, but neither of them look like they are worth the price!

Sazisi Tue 15-Sep-09 22:19:34

Prefer the IO (actually I want it myself)

tattycoram Tue 15-Sep-09 22:22:46

I like Traceybath's one

SpringySponge Tue 15-Sep-09 22:28:21

I'm yet to see anything I like on Boden (although I've not trawled the site). I think that tunic could make your boobs look really odd.

The IO one looks like it'd be clingy & unflattering. & the pockets would probably ruin the silhouette & make your waist look bigger.

Of the two, I like the IO one better, but couldn't wear it because of the clinginess!

LetThemEatCake Tue 15-Sep-09 22:29:07

IO one a bit edgier ... more fashionable, not so obviously practical, yet still practical if you get me... and with your height and figure why not go for something model-fabulous as opposed to something any old beanbag could wear and look halfway decent in?

I posted an IO discount code on here somewhere the other day for 15% off if that helps

AnyFucker Tue 15-Sep-09 22:37:51

I prefer this

and less ££

LetThemEatCake Tue 15-Sep-09 22:40:00

yes, but only suitable for Halloween!! Or a Cure Comeback tour!!

Oh Fucker, you do not prefer that one!

AnyFucker Tue 15-Sep-09 22:41:24

nice blue colour

Nezzi Tue 15-Sep-09 22:43:11

I much pref IO one, more fashionable than practical but still easy to wear IYKWIM, just don't put stuff in the pockets. I'm tempted but it's too expensive for me
